What Is Pelvic Therapy?

Pelvic floor therapists address the muscles, connective tissues, nerves, bones and organs in and around the pelvic region that can contribute to pelvic dysfunction such as incontinence, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, painful sex and more.  Care is individualized and may include education, exercises, breathing techniques, stretches, manual therapy, postural assessment, evaluating habits and routines and biofeedback techniques to address your pelvic dysfunction and improve your quality of life.
